AppXite platform enables the software and cloud service businesses of household names like Atea, Lenovo, and Liquid. Job Description As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a group of talented quality engineers and an integral part of an agile development team. In this role, you will be a functional tester whose goal is also to facilitate everyday work with business requirements in the development process. You will help to analyze the initial goals and needs of our product, meticulously evaluate product requirements, support the design process, ask tons of questions, facilitate communication between all interested parties, and eventually test the implemented features. We envision each of our employees as stakeholders, so you will be responsible for driving the collaboration with other members of the engineering team to find the best methods for solving problems and securing the quality and usability of our product.

What you’ll do

• Implement effective test strategies with effective test planning, test case designing, test execution.
• Participate in the process of creating Features/User Stories and defining Acceptance Criteria, aligning with Business owner, analyst and developers.
• Bug/defect reporting, detailing, and investigation.
• Understand the software internals, debug problems using log files.
• Integration testing (cross-team project testing).
• Communicate effectively with developers on the explanation of user stories and validating the end implementation of the requirements.
• Participate in acceptance testing or beta testing.
• Develop new strategies and initiatives.
• Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in web testing, Front and Backend testing.
• Strong SQL knowledge (is a must).
• Experience with browser dev tools, Postman.
• Experience in test documentation development (test plans, test cases, checklists, etc.).
• Understanding of SDLC.
• Experience in applying different types and techniques of testing, understanding of features and applications
• Ability to effectively communicate, resolve issues, search for alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Ability to understand and test complex algorithms.
• Experience in business analysis.
• Good attention to detail.
