Role & seniority: Senior Quality Assurance Test Lead (Sr. QA Test Lead), full-time, based in Pittsburgh, PA; requires travel.
Stack/tools: Manual & automated testing; test planning and scripting; defect tracking with Jira or similar; automation tools; Agile SDLC understanding; production management solutions domain; collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate comprehensive manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts; assess and adopt testing tools.
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with PM, product management, and teams to refine test strategies and processes; organize automation efforts.
10+ years in software testing/testing coordination; bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT/SE or related field.
Experience with automated testing tools; strong Agile and SDLC knowledge.

Test Planning: Ensure the development, documentation, and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to our production management solutions and utilize the existing testing tools as well as investigating new ones.
Defect Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using Jira or other defect tracking tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test strategies, and improve testing processes.
Automation: Organize the use of automated testing using relevant technologies in projects.
Quality Assurance: Ensure software meets all quality standards and project requirements prior to release.
