Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a QA Automation Engineer based in Lahore. The QA Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated test scripts to identify software issues, improve product quality, and ensure end-to-end testing coverage. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, writing detailed test plans, analyzing test results, and coordinating with development teams to resolve defects. The role also involves validating and verifying product functionality to meet quality assurance standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support efficient project delivery.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, automation frameworks, and testing tools. Proficiency in test scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI is a plus. Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and version control systems like Git. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
