About The Role
As a QA Architect: Gen AI, you will make an impact by driving the design, development, and implementation of Generative AI solutions across the software testing lifecycle. You will be a valued member of Cognizant’s Quality Engineering & Assurance (QEA) team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers.
In This Role, You Will
Define and implement Gen AI solutions within the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Build and test solutions for automated UI/API code generation using Gen AI-assisted coding. Develop GenAI-driven test data mining and optimization frameworks. Design and fine-tune architectures, pipelines, and prompt engineering frameworks. Lead strategic GenAI adoption initiatives, including roadmap definition and vendor/platform evaluations.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite in Charlotte, NC. What you need to have to be considered
10+ years of technology experience with expertise in GenAI solutions for STLC. Strong knowledge of prompt engineering frameworks and AI-assisted automation. Experience in architecture design, model governance, and responsible AI practices. Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, PyTorch, and LLM optimization. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor in GenAI best practices.
These will help you stand out
Experience in defining GenAI adoption strategies and roadmaps. Familiarity with transformer architectures, multimodal AI, and advanced LLM training. Strong innovation mindset with a track record of successful PoCs and enterprise-grade deployments. Knowledge of AI safety measures and compliance frameworks.
