Find out more about the V.I.E programme at Voluntary program V.I.E - International career at ALTEN Germany (alten-germany.de) Job Description YOU... define and approve grain areas and surface requirements for interior components in line with OEM standards perform surface analyses and visual evaluations (grain, colour, gloss) on parts and vehicles organize and lead Grain & Colour Days, pre-evaluations, and on-site assessments at plants coordinate with OEM departments, suppliers, and process partners approve or reject components and manage rework and re-evaluation processes with suppliers create and maintain photo documentation, acceptance checklists, and Grain/Colour control lists ensure transparent, up-to-date status reporting throughout the project Qualifications YOU... fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements have a technical degree or vocational training (e.g. Automotive, Plastics, Mechanical Engineering) bring experience in automotive interior components, surface quality, or supplier quality possess strong expertise in Grain & Colour definition and automotive surface evaluation standards can read and interpret technical drawings and surface specifications have experience working with OEM processes communicate fluently in German and English demonstrate excellent attention to detail, an assertive communication style, and high self-organization are willing to travel and work on-site in plants and at supplier locations We value diversity and therefore welcome all applications - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age and sexual orientation and identity.
