SOC Performance Verification Engineer ( Simulation)

THE ROLE

• As a Silicon Design Engineer , you will work with IP/SOC designers and perf architects to validate SOC performance metrics for meeting product performance goals

THE PERSON

• You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive bring-up of performance tests at SOC level by working with IP and SOC teams
• Write tests, sequences, and testbench components in C++, SystemVerilog and UVM to achieve performance verification of the design
• Handle regressions, generate perf results by enhancing existing post processing scripts
• Debug perf outliers by working IP PV teams

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 3-4 years of SOC project level experience with RTL design verification and/or performance verification concepts
• Experience or familiarity with functional verification tools by VCS, Synopsys
• Good understanding of computer organization/architecture
• Should have performance verification basics and scripting expertise for automation

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
