More about the role Job Summary Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality. Implements digital manufacturing solutions to enhance production capabilities and data integration. Key Areas of Responsibility Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions (e.g., robotic arms, PLC-controlled systems, vision inspection systems) for assembly, metalware, painting. Integrate new automation equipment with existing production lines. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose automation improvements. Lead automation projects from conception to commissioning, including budgeting, timeline tracking, and vendor coordination. AI deployment in manufacturing. Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards and company protocols. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety features (light curtains, emergency stops, etc.). Train production and maintenance teams on operating and maintaining new automation equipment. Create detailed documentation (schematics, manuals, maintenance schedules). Critical Experiences Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, preferably in lighting, electronics assembly.
