Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer located in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying automated systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify areas for automation, and ensure the successful integration of automated technologies. Additional tasks may include troubleshooting existing systems, creating technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proficiency in Automation Design and Implementation, including PLC programming and industrial control systems Expertise in Process Optimization and Data Analysis for improving workflow efficiency Experience in Software Development and Programming with knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills for resolving technical issues Collaborative team player with excellent communication and project management abilities Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation) or related field Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulations is a plus Experience with robotics, machine learning, or IoT integration is an advantage
