Job Description AQA - Western Union Company:** Techwave Consulting India Private Ltd. --- Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AQA (Automation Quality Assurance) Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team, focusing on the Western Union project. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications, with a strong emphasis on API and UI testing. Job Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Java, Selenium, and RestAssured * Design and implement API tests using Postman and RestAssured to validate backend services and integrations. * Utilize the Cucumber Testing Framework to write clear, concise, and executable BDD test scenarios. * Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system requirements and design robust test strategies. * Identify, document, and track software defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution. * Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. * Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and best practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. * Generate detailed test reports and communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders. --- Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience in Automated Quality Assurance (AQA) roles, with a strong focus on automation. * Proficiency in Java programming for test automation. * Extensive experience with API Testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured. * Solid understanding and practical experience with the Cucumber Testing Framework. * Strong expertise in using Selenium for web application automation. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
