Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks, scripting, and tools such as Playwright, Typescript, and JavaScript. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and Java/Python/JavaScript.
Write clear and concise Gherkin scenarios that define test cases in a BDD format.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
Maintain and enhance existing automation suites and frameworks.
Execute automated and manual test cases during development sprints and regression cycles.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Ensure test environments and test data are properly set up.
Advocate for best QA and automation practices across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Proficiency in Cucumber and writing test scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Experience testing RESTful APIs is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-based testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
