Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years in quality assurance with design and execution of test plans/cases

Proficiency with Jira/Xray or similar tools; English proficiency (minimum B2)
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum/Kanban; strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and cross-functional collaboration
ISTQB or similar certification

About The Job
At Plannatech, we are looking for a Senior Quality Analyst Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing quality assurance processes, executing test plans, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy, including test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks, to ensure the reliability and usability of our products and services.
Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements and user stories, and execute tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar, to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Clarifying and deep understanding of the features that are part of a project or single feature prior starting test cases and test executions.
Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and identify areas for improvement, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the overall quality of our products and services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals, requirements, and priorities.
Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior quality analysts and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality assurance practices and methodologies.
Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in quality assurance, testing, and test automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in a quality assurance role, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases for software applications. Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
English proficiency: Minimum B2 and above Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira and Xray or similar tools. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and KanBan methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment. Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or similar are desirable but not required.
