Role: QA Automation Lead

Location: Alpharetta, GA - Hybrid (Only locals)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job description

We are seeking a QA Automation Lead to drive quality assurance across multiple Agile projects. This role will lead automation and manual testing efforts, collaborate closely with UAT, development, and business teams, and ensure high-quality releases across complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead QA activities across multiple Agile/Scrum projects. Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases (functional, regression, end-to-end). Coordinate with UAT teams, IT, vendors, and external stakeholders for testing execution and sign-offs. Manage non-production environments, including test data setup, refreshes, and issue troubleshooting. Track, debug, and escalate defects; partner with developers through resolution. Develop and execute test plans covering functionality, scalability, security, and usability. Implement TDD/BDD practices within Agile teams. Integrate QA automation with CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools. Provide clear test reporting, estimates, and status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of QA Automation experience using tools such as Selenium, SOAPUI/Postman, qTest, Java, TestNG Strong experience with Web Services & API testing (REST, XML) 6+ years of Functional Testing experience 4+ years of Oracle SQL Hands-on Unix/Linux and scripting experience Strong Agile/Scrum experience Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Telecom domain experience, especially order provisioning and billing systems Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab), cloud platforms, and open-source tools Experience or interest in AI/ML-driven test automation
