Role & seniority: QA Automation Engineer (mid–senior) focused on web application testing
Stack/tools: Codeception (backend), Cypress (end-to-end), REST API testing, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows; plus PHP and modern JavaScript frameworks (nice-to-have); Docker (nice-to-have); Selenium/Python (nice-to-have)
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend, frontend, and APIs
Analyze test failures, identify root causes with developers, and improve test coverage and stability
Create and maintain test documentation, plans, and cases; optimize test execution time
Experience automation testing for web apps
Proficiency with Codeception (Gherkin) and Cypress for E2E testing
Strong understanding of software testing principles; API testing (REST)
Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows
Jest for frontend tests; PHP/JavaScript framework experience
Docker/containerized test environments; Selenium/Python UI tests
Performance and/or security testing; Agile/Scrum experience
