Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our software products.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, process-focused, and comfortable advocating for quality standards while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web and backend applications Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects, edge cases, and performance issues Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of defects and ensure timely resolution Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and quality standards are met Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, and CI/CD integration Document test plans, test cases, defects, and quality metrics clearly and consistently Enforce testing standards, processes, and best practices across the development lifecycle

Requirements

Required Technical Skills

2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation Strong experience writing automated tests in Python or Java Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, pytest, or similar) Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC Experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend services Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
