Quality Assurance Intern

To fuel this growth, we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Intern who will help us ship with confidence by validating core user journeys, supporting automation efforts, and partnering with product and engineering teams to continuously raise the quality bar across our platform.

🔎 Role Overview As a QA Intern at Digitopia, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases across our platform. This role is ideal for someone who has foundational knowledge in test automation, enjoys validating user experience flows, and is curious about applying AI tools to accelerate QA processes.

🎯 What You Will Do UX & Functional Testing Execute exploratory and usability-focused testing across product journeys Validate UI consistency, accessibility, and user interaction quality Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to improve user experience AI-Enhanced QA Practices

Experiment with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, test generation tools) to

• Generate test cases
• Improve test coverage
• Build smarter automation workflows
• Explore innovative approaches to AI-driven QA pipelines
• Quality Collaboration
• Report, track, and document bugs clearly using Jira/Linear or similar tools
• Participate in sprint planning, QA reviews, and release readiness checks
• Learn best practices in modern product quality culture
• Test Automation & Systems Thinking
• Support the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks
• Help build scalable test pipelines for web-based applications
• Learn and contribute to CI/CD-integrated testing practices

💡 What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA lifecycle Basic experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST concepts) Familiarity with UX testing and product usability validation Curiosity and willingness to use AI tools to improve workflows Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) Understanding of agile development processes
