Role & seniority: Production/QA Test Technician (entry to mid level) within S&C Electric; full-time, on-site
Stack/tools: Electrical/mechanical testing equipment; blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics; basic hand tools; measuring devices (multimeters, tape measures); safety devices; computing tools (MS Office)
Execute standard functional tests on electrical products/systems per established procedures
Read/interpret blueprints and schematics to perform tests and some troubleshooting; identify and escalate issues
Maintain/calibrate testing equipment; document tasks, deviations, and quality concerns; assist in improving testing procedures
1–3+ years in electrical or mechanical roles; understanding of electrical/mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot, read blueprints/schematics, and train/mentor junior teammates
Detail-oriented with precise manual/delicate-task handling; good communication and basic computer skills (MS Office)
Prior manufacturing or electrical testing experience; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
Familiarity with shop math and production support collaboration

6: 00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday- Friday) Overtime as Needed
Standing: All tasks are performed in a standing position with intermittent walking.
Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
Walking: Occasional walking moderate distances (less than 1/8 mile).
Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs.
Pushing: Occasional pushing of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
Pulling: Occasional pulling of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
Bending: Frequent bending and crouching to safely lift parts of various sizes and shapes.
