Job Title Associate QA Engineer About the Business Area/Department: At the heart of it all is our Departure Control System (DCS) Flight Management, a mission-critical platform that supports over 150 airlines and enables 1 billion passengers to check in and board every year. Summary of the role: As an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer (Functional application testing) you will be a key member of the DCS Flight Management team. You will be working predominantly in an Agile environment and in close collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met to the right quality standards. In this role you will work within defined processes or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments. You will also take a broad perspective to problems and identify new, less obvious solutions. In addition, you will receive instructions and guidance from a manager or supervisor. You may also have specialized external certification and/or job-related training and work experience. In this role you’ll: Create, review, maintain, and perform all functional tests. Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications. Coordinate with Product Managers and other stakeholders for the assessment of requirements and create functional tests which cover the functionality. Foresee/forecast risks, gaps, and impact. Be part of the regression team and work on execution of tests using the test frameworks. You will monitor the test results and perform reporting for execution. Write test plan (functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression). Ensure improvement of non-regression test repository in the Change Request plan. Design and perform tests. Fix Problem Tracking Records. Participate in specification reviews to give input on testing requirements. Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing across different departments and stakeholders About the ideal candidate: Has 3-5 years of experience working as Quality Assurance Engineer. Has experience in different types of functional and API testing. Has knowledge of data driven testing. Has experience with SQL. Has exposure to automation testing using Selenium. Has exposure to programming language such as Java, Python or JavaScript.
