Role & seniority: Software Quality Engineer / Test Automation Engineer (mid-level to senior) in a dedicated Quality Engineering team within an independent IT consultancy.
Stack/tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Appium; programming with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#/.NET; CI/CD pipeline integration; AI in testing concepts.
Develop, maintain, and optimize test automation solutions for software projects.
Build quality metrics and reporting processes to ensure transparent product quality.
Collaborate in an agile team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients; occasional on-site project support in Germany.
Degree in computer science, information systems, media informatics, or related IT field.
Experience in manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in one of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#/.NET; solid programming fundamentals.
Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with applying AI in testing; fluent English; German a plus.
German language skills.
Prior experience across web, mobile, cloud, or AI testing environments.
Comfort with distributed work and client-facing interactions.

Your Role You develop, maintain, and optimize test automation solutions for our software development projects. You work independently with testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or Appium. You build quality metrics and reporting processes to ensure transparent product quality. You are part of an agile team and communicate on an equal footing both internally and with our clients. Occasionally you undertake project trips to Germany to support your team and clients on site.
Your Profile You have successfully completed your studies in computer science, media informatics, information systems, or a similar IT-related field. You already gained relevant experience in manual and automated testing. You have solid fundamentals in programming with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or C# / .NET. You have first experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines. You have already explored the efficient use of AI in the context of testing. You speak fluent English. German language skills would be a plus.
