About The Role
You will support test cell revamps and new test bench designs, ensuring alignment with our automation standards and best practices. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for testing equipment to simulate and control mechanical system behavior. Working closely with project leaders and test engineers, you will provide automation expertise, support verification and optimization of test setups, and drive continuous improvement by refining models, control strategies, and capturing knowledge for future projects.

What we're looking for
Master’s degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. Expertise in automation and control systems, including PLC programming. Familiarity with industrial automation platforms (e.g. Beckhoff, Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA systems. Experience with industrial networks (e.g. EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP). Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or similar scripting languages. Ability to develop and tune control algorithms through simulation. Understanding of mechanical systems and thermodynamics. Proven experience in system and process control development in test lab, R&D, or industrial environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive, analytical mindset.
