Design shift-left, end-to-end test strategies and implement automated tests across unit to end-to-end layers
Build and maintain automation integrated into CI/CD; test API-driven microservices; manage test environments/data
Review PRs, troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and drive defect prevention; collaborate with Agile teams

Must-have skills

5+ years in test automation/SDET; strong Python or TypeScript programming
Deep API testing expertise (REST, contracts); end-to-end automation across services
Strong SQL; hands-on AWS experience; CI/CD and DevOps tooling; solid SDLC and white-box testing knowledge
Experience testing AI-driven systems; knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering; familiarity with AI model risks

Key Responsibilities

Champion a zero-defect mindset and promote quality ownership across teams Design and implement shift-left test strategies across multiple lines of business Develop and maintain automated tests across all layers (unit, API, integration, end-to-end) Build automation using open-source frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines Test API-driven, microservices-based architectures Collaborate with Agile (Scrum) teams to decompose requirements and user stories into effective test coverage Manage test environments, test data, and containerized test strategies Review pull/merge requests and provide feedback on quality and best practices Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect prevention

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

Key Skills: API Testing , AI/ML, SDET, Automation and Python or Typescript 5+ years of experience in test automation / SDET roles Strong programming experience in Python or TypeScript Deep understanding of API testing (REST, services, contracts) Experience building end-to-end automation across multiple services Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, GitLab, Docker) Solid understanding of modern testing practices and test automation frameworks

Understanding of current AI/ML paradigms, including

Large Language Models (LLMs)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Classification models
Prompt engineering / dynamic prompting
Experience testing AI-driven systems and understanding model risks such as hallucinations, bias, and data leakage
Experience with API mocks, stubs, and virtual services
Full-stack test automation experience (unit, business logic, contract, functional, performance)
Financial services or consumer banking technology experience
Experience testing Salesforce or Genesys IVR systems
Familiarity with ML/AI Python libraries (spaCy, NLTK, etc.)
Strong knowledge of white-box testing and SDLC best practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative mindset with developers, product, and business teams
Curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about breaking code to make it better
