Role Summary

The Senior QA / Test Analyst will be responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional, integration, and API testing of complex, public-facing healthcare applications. The role requires strong experience in requirements-based testing, defect management, cross-team collaboration, and quality assurance best practices in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform UAT, functional, regression, and integration testing for web-based enterprise applications Translate business and functional requirements into clear test cases and test scenarios Execute test cases, analyze results, and document findings Validate end-to-end workflows and downstream system integrations

Test Planning & Documentation

Create and maintain test plans, test schedules, and test documentation Prepare and manage test data for functional and UAT scenarios Review test results for compliance with functional and design requirements

Defect Management

Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or similar Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues Participate in defect triage and retesting activities

API & Backend Validation

Perform API testing using tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, or similar Validate backend processing and data integrity Execute basic SQL queries to support data validation and testing activities

Performance & Non-Functional Testing (Nice to Have)

Support performance and load testing activities Use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter, or similar to simulate system usage Assist in establishing performance baselines and validating system behavior under load

Collaboration & Process

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, development, and testing Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and testing activities Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test results

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Strong experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for web-based applications Experience testing public-facing or enterprise systems Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA or equivalent) Ability to understand requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing healthcare, insurance, or government systems Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with API testing tools Experience with backend database testing and SQL Familiarity with Agile / Iterative SDLCs Exposure to performance or load testing
