We are searching for Test Technician II to handle the testing of products developed by our company for public release. In this role, you will be required to plan, conduct, and report on testing done to products under development as well as provide advice and feedback to relevant stakeholders.

This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do

Perform operational tests on a wide variety of moderately complex production components, subassemblies and systems using data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, established test specifications and standard test procedures, which clearly outline procedures to be followed. Set up and operates in accordance with prescribed procedures a variety of test stands consisting of multiples of standard test equipment such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, counters, etc. Work with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to operationally test developmental products as required. Align and adjusts subassemblies and/or systems in accordance with test procedures and data sheets to comply with established specifications and acceptable performance. Interpret test data and checks results against specifications, test procedures and data sheets to determine proper functioning and quality of product. Deviate from standard test procedures as required to troubleshoot, locate and diagnose malfunctions within the unit requiring application of technical knowledge, skill and ingenuity. Realigns and readjusts unit as required. Designate rework instructions where necessary and retest work after rework. Stamp and otherwise approves test results. Records test data and submit test failure/acceptance reports and notifies supervisor of unusual conditions or undesirable trends. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US), an Associate degree in technical area: Electronic Engineering, Electronics or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
