Firmware Test Engineer We are looking for an experienced Firmware Test Engineer with a strong background in HIL testing, Python programming, and experience in the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating firmware for embedded systems, ensuring that the software meets high-quality standards. You will also be involved in implementing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with development teams.
Develop, execute, and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test systems to validate embedded firmware. Design and implement automated test scripts using Python for firmware testing. Collaborate with software development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to define test strategies and requirements. Perform test planning, execution, and reporting on firmware performance and functionality. Work with tools for software configuration management, requirements management, defect tracking, and peer review to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability. Identify, report, and track bugs, working closely with developers to debug and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices to optimize test cycles and deployment processes. Continuously improve test processes by integrating new tools and methodologies for more efficient and robust firmware validation.
