ROLE: Quality Engineer with Automation

Description

" Developing and maintaining automated test scripts:* Writing and updating test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in conjunction with programming languages like Java or Python to automate the testing of web applications.

*** Designing and implementing automation frameworks:** Creating and enhancing robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid) to improve efficiency, reusability, and maintainability of test assets.

*** Executing automated tests and analyzing results:** Running automated test suites, interpreting test outcomes, and identifying discrepancies or defects.

*** Defect management:** Documenting, tracking, and reporting software defects found during automated testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure their resolution.

*** Integration with CI/CD pipelines:** Integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins to ensure early detection of issues and faster feedback loops.

*** Collaborating with development and QA teams:** Working closely with developers and other QA engineers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and improve overall software quality.

*** Improving testing processes:** Continuously evaluating and optimizing testing processes, strategies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

*** Performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing:** Ensuring application compatibility across various browsers, operating systems, and devices through automated testing."
