About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom QA / OSS-BSS Test Engineer with strong expertise in OSS, Inventory, NMS/EMS systems, network layers, and end-to-end testing of telecom platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on knowledge of UI testing, REST APIs, micro services, database validation, and strong debugging skills. Experience working with leading telecom platforms such as Ericsson OSS, Metasolv, NetCracker, and Cramer is preferred. This role requires strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and excellent programming capability in testing environments.
Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end testing across Telecom OSS/BSS, Inventory, and NMS/EMS systems. Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and workflows aligned with business and technical requirements. Conduct UI and User Interface testing for web-based telecom applications. Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools and perform API-level regression. Work closely with system flows across Network Layers (L1/L2/L3) and telecom provisioning systems. Test and validate workflows in platforms like Ericsson OSS, Metasolv, NetCracker, and Cramer. Perform defect management in JIRA—tracking, logging, reporting, and driving closure with development teams. Work on microservices-based architectures, validating service interaction, database consistency, and logs. Execute CLI-based validations on UNIX/Linux systems for logs, configs, and system-level checks. Perform database testing using SQL queries to verify backend data accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Architecture, Product) to ensure feature completeness and quality. Troubleshoot and debug issues across UI, API, and backend layers. Ensure end-to-end ecosystem validation across multiple OSS/BSS/NMS platforms and integrations.
