Must-have skills

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) and Network Inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of telecom/networking applications through robust automation frameworks and validation of OSS workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for OSS & Network Inventory applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing (automation + manual). Validate network inventory data models, topology, configurations, and lifecycle workflows. Test OSS components including provisioning, activation, assurance, fault, and performance management. Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend/database testing. Ensure data integrity across logical & physical inventory systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies. Track, manage, and retest defects ensuring timely closure. Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Prepare test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.

Mandatory Skills

7 to 12 years of QA Automation experience. Strong working knowledge of automation tools (Preferably WebDriverIO, but ~Selenium/Cypress/Playwright also acceptable). Telecom domain experience is mandatory (OSS, Network Inventory, Service Orchestration, Network Planning). Hands-on experience with API Testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, RestAssured, etc. Strong SQL and database validation skills. Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA/ALM/Zephyr). Knowledge of OSS tools like Ericsson Granite, Amdocs Cramer is a strong advantage.

Good-to-Have Skills

Automation scripting using Java / Python / JavaScript. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
