As an Automation Tester at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute test strategies that uphold the highest standards of performance and compliance. Your contributions will have a direct impact on patient care, client satisfaction, and the ongoing innovation that drives HCLTech’s leadership in healthcare IT.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure rigorous adherence to quality processes and documentation standards.
• Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans, including regression test strategies, to validate healthcare technology solutions in clinical IT environments.
• Utilize test management tools such as Quality Center, Azure DevOps Test Manager, or Jama to oversee test case creation, execution, and tracking.
• Leverage automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to enhance testing efficiency and coverage for embedded software applications.
• Conduct test analysis of approved functional requirements, identifying gaps or ambiguities and ensuring clarity through requirements ambiguity reviews.
• Prepare high-quality documentation, including Test Plan Documents, Test Summary Documents, and Test Case Documents.
• Participate actively in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Support verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience Minimum Requirements Fluency in English Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in healthcare technology IT environments. Proficiency with test management tools (Quality Center, Azure DevOps Test Manager, Jama). Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress. Solid understanding of embedded software development processes. Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Demonstrated experience in planning and executing regression test strategies. Ability to create, review, and maintain detailed test documentation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
