Overview of the Role
As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare technology solutions delivered to clinics and healthcare providers. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test processes that are integral to maintaining and enhancing the performance of HCLTech’s healthcare software products. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, effectiveness, and compliance of solutions used in critical healthcare environments.
Detailed Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with project objectives and regulatory requirements. Utilize industry-leading test management tools, such as Quality Center, Azure DevOps Test Manager, or Jama, to plan, organize, and track testing efforts. Develop and implement automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Cypress to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Contribute to embedded software testing in clinic IT environments, ensuring robust integration and performance. Participate in Agile development cycles, supporting continuous integration and delivery through iterative testing. Plan and execute regression test strategies to ensure ongoing reliability and compliance of healthcare solutions. Perform comprehensive test analysis based on approved functional requirements and conduct requirements ambiguity reviews for improved clarity. Create, maintain, and deliver test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, and Test Case Documents. Ensure verification activities are conducted with thorough documentation to support regulatory and quality standards.
Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in healthcare technology and clinic IT environments.
