Job Summary We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java/Python) or modern frameworks like Cypress or Playwright, along with exposure to performance and smoke testing. A solid understanding of testing fundamentals, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills is essential. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications Implement and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java/Python), Cypress, or Playwright Perform smoke, regression, functional, and integration testing Conduct performance testing and analyze system behavior under load Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables Review requirements and provide early feedback from a QA perspective Ensure test coverage, test data preparation, and adherence to QA best practices Requirements 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java or Python) or Cypress / Playwright Good understanding of automation frameworks and test design patterns Experience in smoke testing and performance testing Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies Excellent logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports Good to Have Experience with CI/CD tools and test execution pipelines Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
