We are looking for a QA Engineer - Automation to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; More than 9 years of professional experience; Previous experience as a QA Automation Engineer; Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and/or C# (for .NET), Git, SQL, and scripting; Knowledge in Web (HTML, CSS); Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Katalon and/or Experitest; Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps; Familiarity with Jira and Xray; Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies; Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multiple teams; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and quality; Familiarity with BDD methodologies and frameworks, such as Cucumber or SpecFlow, is a plus; Good level of English Language.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and define a comprehensive test automation strategy that aligns with the goals of the development team and ensures high-quality software delivery; Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation tools and frameworks suited for our projects, particularly focusing on Java and/or .NET environments; Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand application features and define testing requirements; Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing; Facilitate the execution of automated tests as part of the CI/CD pipelines; Stay current with industry trends in test automation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement in testing processes and tools.
