Role & seniority: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Porto project, Hybrid)
Stack/tools: REST API and frontend testing; Selenium, Cypress, Playwright; Cucumber (BDD); Xray (test management); Postman, Swagger; Azure DevOps CI/CD; SQL Server; Jira/Confluence; English B2, Portuguese C1
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend REST APIs and frontend interfaces
Execute manual and automated tests; report defects and track quality metrics
Integrate testing activities with CI/CD pipelines and ensure traceability via test management tools
5+ years in QA engineering (manual and automated)
Experience testing REST APIs and frontend applications
Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright; BDD with Cucumber
Test management (Xray); API tools (Postman, Swagger); Azure DevOps CI/CD
SQL/SQL Server; Jira/Confluence; fluent English (B2) and Portuguese (C1)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation for a project based in Porto (Hybrid).
Higher Education in Engineering or Information Technologies. 5 years of experience minimum as a QA Engineer. Experience with manual and automated testing. Expertise testing REST APIs and frontend. Proficiency on testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress and Playwright. Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) frameworks e.g. Cucumber. Experience in test management (Xray) and reporting bugs. Experience with API tools (Postman and Swagger). Experience integrating test tools with automated CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps. Knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server. Experience with Jira/Confluence. Fluency in English (minimum B2 – mandatory). Fluency in Portuguese (minimum C1 – mandatory).
