Set up, operate and support tests on a wide range of car components and subsystems across multiple rigs
Calibrate/configure control software, data acquisition systems, instruments and actuators; maintain rig readiness and perform routine maintenance
Support and mentor Technicians/Apprentices; contribute to SOPs, data reporting, safety culture, and collaboration with Test Engineers
Extensive practical knowledge of vehicle/powertrain testing, rig operation, and fault finding
Experience with instrumentation, actuators, calibration, and data interpretation
Ability to follow procedures, maintain safety, and communicate effectively
Supervisory or technical leadership experience

Job Description As an Engineering Technician within the Test and Validation department, you will use your practical, hands-on skills and expertise to set-up and operates our rigs, executing tests on a wide range of car components and assemblies. You will support the calibration and maintenance of our test capability and provide first line of support to keep our rigs operating. You will help to support and develop Technicians and Apprentices, by providing on-task guidance.
