Job Description: Saab Inc. is seeking a motivated Senior Production Test Engineering Technician to work at our facility in East Syracuse, NY. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will work in a hands-on environment supporting new technologies. This role provides the opportunity to learn about Saab, Inc. products while gaining exposure to a variety of test tools and testing technologies, allowing you to continue building and expanding your technical skill set. Responsibilities will expand with experience and may include: Perform software and hardware testing independently at multiple stages of the production build process. Contribute to the development and improvement of test equipment and procedures for new products. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to support testing activities. Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot basic electro-mechanical nonconformances. Develop, implement, and validate test tools as required. Compensation Range: $31.06 - $38.80 per hour The compensation range provided is a general guideline. Skills and Experience: Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s degree in a technical or engineering field is preferred. 4+ years of experience in test and troubleshooting of electronic products within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems with standard diagnostic equipment and software tools. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of electronic assembly industry standards, including IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001.
