2+ years (or MS + 0–3 years) in software/system testing/validation, preferably defense/aerospace.

Experience with defense systems, payload integration, and combat system testing.

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position Job Requisition: Test Engineer for the Payload Control System (PCS)
The PCS Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test strategies for the Payload Control System (PCS), a critical component of our advanced defense solutions. The PCS supports various payloads, ensuring operational effectiveness and integration within broader systems. This role includes systems engineering tasking to support overall system development and integration efforts.
Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for the PCS to ensure it meets operational requirements and performance standards Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests for hardware and software components Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve defects Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, systems engineers, and other test engineers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective defect resolution Document test results, track defects, generate test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders Develop test fixtures, equipment specifications, and diagnostic programs for new products Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes Support field testing and validation activities as required Support systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system design reviews, technical documentation, and interface coordination as needed
