Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and data validation testing of Tableau dashboards. Use intermediate-level SQL to validate data accuracy, transformations, joins, aggregations, and KPI calculations between source systems and Tableau outputs. Perform end-to-end dashboard testing, including filters, parameters, calculations, drill down behavior, and performance validation. Design and implement automated testing workflows for Tableau dashboards using tools such as Wiisdom, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks. Document test strategies, test plans, defects, and release progress using JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and other reporting tools. Collaborate with Tableau Engineers and Data Engineers to clarify requirements, identify data issues, and ensure high-quality dashboard releases. Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and data validation standards.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field 5+ years of experience in dashboard or BI testing (Tableau strongly preferred) Intermediate SQL skills (ability to write joins, aggregations, subqueries, data validation queries, and troubleshoot data discrepancies) — required Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing methodologies Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Excel for test management and documentation Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., Redshift, Oracle, or similar) Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
