About the role We are seeking a Senior Release Test System Integration Tester to validate complex, large-scale systems throughout the software development lifecycle. This role works closely with system design, product, and engineering teams to define test strategies, create system-level test plans, and ensure high-quality releases through comprehensive functional and integration testing. The ideal candidate will drive best-in-class testing practices, support CI/CD and DevOps processes, and provide risk assessments to ensure overall system readiness for production deployments.

What is needed · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field · 8+ years of experience as a Senior Release Test / System Integration Tester · Strong experience with test management and defect tools (e.g., Zephyr, JIRA) · Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and DevOps deployment processes · Experience with large-scale, multi-tiered systems and service-oriented architecture · Understanding of modern web application architecture with decoupled modules · Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple objectives · Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently · Basic understanding of networks and components (modems, switches, routers, firewalls) · Ability to design, execute, and report on system-level test plans and cases · Experience working cross-functionally to resolve issues during the SDLC

Experience · 8+ years as a Senior Release Test / System Integration Tester · Working with large-scale, multi-tiered systems and service-oriented architectures · Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Zephyr, JIRA) · Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps processes using tools like Jenkins · Experience in system-level test planning, test execution, and validation · Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams · Familiarity with network components (modems, switches, routers, firewalls)

· Optional but preferred: system engineering, system integration, telecommunications, scripting (Python/Ruby), and database experience (SQL/NoSQL)
