Full Description

Project Overview

We are exploring the frontier of Generative AI to revolutionize how we interact with data. This internship focuses on developing a "Natural Language to SQL" pipeline—allowing users to query databases using plain English. You will work closely with the engineering team to build, refine, and validate these GenAI models. A critical component of this role involves setting up a robust test chain using SOAP UI to ensure the generated queries are accurate, secure, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

Prompt Engineering & Tuning: Develop and refine prompts to improve the accuracy of GenAI-generated SQL queries for complex relational databases.

Pipeline Integration: Assist in connecting GenAI interfaces with our backend systems to facilitate seamless data retrieval.

Automated Testing (SOAP UI): Design and implement a comprehensive test suite in SOAP UI to validate the outputs of the AI-to-SQL engine.

Performance Benchmarking: Compare AI-generated SQL against human-written queries for efficiency and optimization.

Security Validation: Ensure the generated SQL adheres to security protocols, preventing issues like prompt injection or unauthorized data access.
