Salary: C$20 - C$25 / hour
Role & seniority: Internship (Engineering)
Stack/tools: Java or JavaScript; UI testing with Selenium; API testing with Postman, Cucumber; automated test framework
Design and develop automated test scripts from manual QA cases
Implement UI tests (Selenium) and API tests (Postman, Cucumber) to validate functionality, performance, and security
Improve and expand the automation framework; document bugs and provide test reports / metrics
Current college or graduate student in CS or related field (graduating 2026/2027)
~1 year hands-on experience with Java or JavaScript
Strong work ethic, communication, and analytical skills
Eligibility to work in Canada (citizenship, PR, or refugee protection)
Experience converting manual test cases to automated scripts
Familiarity with test strategy, coverage metrics, and QA tooling beyond the listed stack
Location & work type: Canada-based; full-time position (internship) with hands-on, collaborative environment; includes competitive hourly rate (CAD 20–25)

Work under the direction of mentors to test state-of-the-art product Design and develop robust automated test scripts based on the QA team's manual test cases Implement UI tests using selenium to ensure our applications' user interface meets our quality standards Develop API tests to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of our APIs using tools like Postman, Cucumber etc. Work closely with the QA team to understand the test requirements and convert manual test cases into automated scripts Continuously improve and expand our automation test framework to enhance test execution speed, scalability, and reliability Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and integrate them into the test process where beneficial Provide detailed reports and metrics on test execution, coverage, and areas for improvement to the QA and development teams
Requirements
Current college or graduate student majoring in Computer Science or a related field, graduate in 2026 or 2027 One year of hands-on experience with Java or JavaScript Strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality results Excellent communication and analytical skills Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection given under the lay and legal bale to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live
