Full Description

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a QA Tester (Manual). The Manuel QA Tester will perform the following duties, but not limited too

  • Ensures that all required QA knowledge, artifacts and repositories are associated with VLER/SOES procedures
  • Test plans, test cases, and test data associated with the QA validation of high-quality software solutions DMDC’s DVASP platforms.
  • Supports and maintains comprehensive manual test plans and verification protocols to validate software functionality, security compliance, and performance.
  • This includes executing manual functional, regression, integration, and accessibility testing, in alignment with DoD Section 508 requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Devises testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product in conjunction with product design and specifications.
  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
  • Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Qualifications
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have active public Trust clearance
  • Experience with manual testing tools
  • Experience performing manual tests
  • Knowledge of QA artifacts

  • Target Salary Range
  • $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
