We are looking for civil/structural engineer interested in taking software quality assurance / validation Engineer role and become a part of the team focused on civil and structural engineering software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, analyzing, and validating software applications designed for the civil and structural engineering sectors, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and user experience standards. This role requires a strong understanding of both software testing practices and engineering principles, with an emphasis on identifying and resolving bugs, issues, and system deficiencies.
What You'll Do
Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge for all Hilti engineering relevant solutions such as modular support, post installed anchoring, direct fastening. Perform manual testing across different environments.
Test features to ensure they will interact correctly with other features in production.
Writing & executing high quality test plans and test cases based on specifications, engineering standards and real-world application of software that ensure the product meets functional, usability and performance requirements. Creating bug reports, ensuring accurate reproduction/root-cause analysis, and collaboration with Development on fixes Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test design, case reports, and test results. Estimate, plan, schedule, and coordinate software testing tasks for themselves and others. Participate in the software estimation process (effort/time). Follow BU F&P Solutions workflows and guidelines Maintain knowledge of energy, industry and building construction related codes / standards / guidelines.
What You’ll Bring Special Knowledge
Experience with International Standards & Codes Experienced level of any structural engineering software (STAAD-PRO, R-Stab etc) Experienced level of Microsoft Office usage AutoCAD 2D/ AUTOCAD3D / INVENTOR, REVIT / NAVISWORK know-how is a plus FEM engineering software know-how is a plus Familiar with Agile development process and tools such as JIRA/Confluence/Slack is a plus. Any programming experience and Hands-on experience in software quality assurance is a plus.

Strong structural / civil engineering background, ideally coming from in Oil & Gas or Power / Manufacturing / Building Construction Industries. Good level in structural analysis. Working experience with BIM, Structural Analysis and Design software. Excellent problem-solving, technical analysis, coordination and communication skills. Good Level of Presentation & communication Skill Proactive and customer-oriented mindset Strong planning, self-organization and time management skills. Ability to work effectively within a highly collaborative and dynamic environment with colleagues around the world.
