Role & seniority: QA Automation Engineer – mid-to-senior level (3–6 years), hands-on lead for testing efforts; contract option available or core team member.

Design, develop, and deploy automated test suites for mobile apps and Flutter SDKs.
Build and maintain backend testing frameworks ensuring reliability of Java/Node.js services.

Hands-on Appium (iOS & Android)

The Role We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on expert to lead the testing efforts for our mobile applications, SDKs, and backend services. Whether you join us as a core team member or a dedicated contractor, you will collaborate with international stakeholders to architect and implement a sustainable automation framework that covers our entire tech stack and impacts millions of users.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy automated test suites for Mobile applications and Flutter SDKs (Android & iOS). Build and maintain robust backend testing frameworks, ensuring the reliability and performance of our Java and Node.js services. Work seamlessly with international squads to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Deep dive into system logs and complex business logic within a large-scale enterprise architecture to identify and help resolve issues before they reach production. Develop detailed test strategies and plans for complex features at both the functional and system level. Leverage AI tools to accelerate test data generation and assertions.
Qualifications 3-6 years of proven experience in QA Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Appium for iOS & Android. Strong hands-on experience with RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools for API automation. Proficiency in Java. Solid knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, or SQL) for data-driven testing. Professional maturity to work effectively both independently and within high-performance, multinational collaborative environments. Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Optional Qualifications Familiarity with Node.js or Dart (Flutter) to better understand and debug the core codebase. Previous experience in high-impact sectors like Telecommunications or Financial Services. Experience with cloud-hosting platforms (AWS/Heroku) and performance monitoring tools.
