The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated solutions that streamline infrastructure operations and improve system reliability. This role focuses on building robust automation workflows for tasks such as server provisioning, software deployment, configuration management, and system monitoring. Using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash, the engineer creates efficient, scalable automation tools and frameworks tailored to diverse environments.

Essential Skills

Programming/Scripting

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or others.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Configuration Management

• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

CI/CD

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Operating Systems

• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.

Networking

Cloud Platforms

Key Responsibilities

Automation Design and Development
