Job Description The Position We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Red Hat Ansible to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions across Organon’s infrastructure and application environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in configuration management, infrastructure as code (IaC), DevOps, and automation across cloud and on-premises hosting environments with a passion for streamlining operations to improve efficiency. Responsibilities Design and develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions. Maintain and enhance existing Ansible automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Integrate Ansible with other tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Bitbucket Pipelines (CI/CD), and ServiceNow (ITSM). Ensure compliance with security and operational policies through automated enforcement. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and infrastructure deployments. Document automation processes, standards, and best practices.
