We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation tools, API/UI testing, CI/CD integration, and should be capable of ensuring product quality in a fast-paced microservices-driven environment.
Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks for web and API testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test requirements. Automate regression, functional, and smoke test suites for scalable execution. Perform API automation for REST endpoints. Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps). Debug test failures, identify root causes, and raise defects with detailed logs. Monitor test coverage and continuously improve automation efficiency. Maintain test data, reusable utilities, and test environments
Preferred candidate profile
Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript (any one must). Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress for UI testing. Experience with API automation using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar tools. Knowledge of test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Pytest, etc.). Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Exposure to Kibana, Elasticsearch, Grafana, or datadog for log-based testing/validation. CI/CD tools knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodology. Good understanding of microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
