Role & seniority: Senior QA Engineer / Quality Assurance (QA Hybrid); potential management track within a fast-growing IT services company.
Stack/tools: Manual testing; Automation testing (basic); HP ALM; JIRA; SQL with complex queries; Test Data Profiling & Test Data Management; domain knowledge in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Trading & Risk Compliance.
Develop test scenarios and test cases; prepare suitable test data; plan and execute testing activities.
Perform manual testing and contribute to automation testing efforts; manage defect lifecycle and reporting with risks/dependencies.
Define and apply test data management approaches; ensure adherence to QA processes and quality standards; communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
8–10 years in Software Testing & Quality Assurance; strong manual testing fundamentals; hands-on automation testing experience.
Proficiency with HP ALM and JIRA; SQL/database testing; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team; ability to prioritize and multitask.
Functional domain understanding of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Trading & Risk Compliance.
Basic knowledge of test automation; experience with QTest/QC or similar tools; exposure to QA hybrid roles and test data profiling approaches.
Location & work type: India; Full-time, on-site or hybrid as per company practice.

Job Description
8-10 Years of experience in Software Testing & Quality Assurance. Thorough understanding of Test Management and Defect Management processes. Solid understanding Manual testing process. In-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies. Hands-on experience on Automation Testing Strong knowledge of industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices. Experience of defining Test Data Profiling approaches and Test Data Management approaches. Strong Functional understanding of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Trading & Risk Compliance. Strong knowledge on Database testing with experience in SQL and complex queries to support the testing. Hands-on experience of HP ALM, JIRA Basic Knowledge on test automation preferred. Excellent written, oral communication skills. Ability to communicate conceptual ideas clearly and effectively. Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision. Should be good team player with the right attitude. Adapt to the changes quickly. Develop test scenarios, test cases and prepare suitable test data.
