About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive our quality assurance initiatives and lead a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and team leadership. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and product managers to ensure delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and testing frameworks
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
- Establish quality metrics and KPIs to measure testing effectiveness
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test results
- Implement automation testing frameworks and best practices
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
- Conduct regular team meetings and status updates
- Present quality metrics and testing progress to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on mobile application testing.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing mobile automation frameworks using tools such as AccelQ, or similar.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Solid understanding of mobile application architectures, SDKs, and APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience in leading a team of automation engineers is a plus
- Good knowledge in Java Script
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 38,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 135,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
