Role & seniority: Game tester / QA tester (entry to mid-level; project-based workload)
Stack/tools: Mobile, Console, PC, and VR testing; bug databases (e.g., JIRA); Microsoft Office; standard computer use; remote/check-ins as needed
Play through unreleased games and document issues encountered
Follow testing process with test leads and fill concise bug reports for developers
Test a variety of titles (including VR, AAA, indie, and mobile) and communicate findings
Native proficiency in Japanese; full professional proficiency in English
Experience with software or video game testing across multiple platforms (Mobile, Console, PC, VR)
Passion for games; ability to play for long periods; comfort with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and general computer use
Prior testing experience is helpful but not required
Interest in VR and diverse game genres; curiosity and creativity to break games
Office in Plateau-Mont-Royal, Montreal, Canada

LEVEL UP AND START A NEW ADVENTURE! Altagram Canada is a video game testing studio. We receive unreleased games from our clients and make sure they are fun, playable, and highly polished! Our work environment is calm, relaxing, and friendly. We pride ourselves in providing a space that allows you to fully experience the games you are playing while being supported by a diverse community of gamers. Our work schedules are project-based. Our projects are usually between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. YOUR ROLE When a project becomes available to you, you will be invited to play through the game and make note of any issues you encountered while playing. Our test leads will guide you through the testing process and help you fill out concise bug reports for the game developers. You will test a variety of engaging, unreleased games such as experimental virtual reality games, next-gen AAA games, inspirational indie games, addicting mobile games and much more!
Your profile Native proficiency in Japanese and full professional proficiency in English. Experience with software or video game testing (Mobile, Consoles, PC, and VR). Passionate and knowledgeable about video games and willing to play them for hours a day! Curious spirit and creativity to break the games and have fun doing it. This role requires you to be comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, bug databases (such as JIRA) and playing video games. Don’t have experience? Apply anyway! Have been gaming for some time?
