Top 3 responsibilities

Lead quality activities across product development from concept to customer implementation; define quality requirements and participate in releases.

Plan and ensure product quality through prototype evaluations, machine build-ups, and lean quality gates; lead risk evaluations and testing decisions.

Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues; collaborate with developers, production, product managers, suppliers, and customer success.
Must-have skills

Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or industrial) or equivalent; 5+ years experience; launched 2–3 products into mass production.

Experience with hardware+software products; proficiency in risk analysis, quality planning, and product releases.

Startup mindset: able to handle ambiguity, adapt to change, and communicate effectively in English (German a plus).

Your daily workout We’re looking for a passionate Experienced Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Quality team at EGYM in Munich. Development Quality: You won’t be stuck in a boring routine - Innovation and new developments are your day-to-day business. You are responsible for quality planning of our machines/ components incl. all quality related involvements and decisions during product development
Ambitious goals: You’ll be deeply embedded in our squads, making sure quality from the product concept stage to successful implementation at customer
Training routine: You define quality requirements, participate in product releases and you are hands on during prototype evaluations and machine build-ups
Problem Solving is your warm up: You'll spend your time identifying and solving potential and real issues and implementing strategies to develop and release quality products fast. Obstacles do not scare you
No Risk - More Fun: You assure product quality expectations by leading risk evaluations and testing decisions
Balance: You implement lean, effective quality gates and standards without stifling innovation
Teamplayer: You’ll work closely with developers, production, product managers, suppliers and customer success departments to assure that we're actually building what our customer expects
Your fitness level We’re looking for a mix of experience, technical grit, and a great attitude.
Base: you have engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or something comparable
Experience: You’ve successfully launched at least 2-3 products into mass production (5 years of Experience).
Technical Versatility: You are experienced with products that combine hardware with integrated software.
