Role & seniority: Electronic Test Technician (likely mid-level; requires 18+ months avionics/test experience; AA in Electronics preferred)
Stack/tools: RF test equipment and hardware/software test tools (Oscilloscopes 100 MHz–2 GHz, Spectrum/Vector Signal Analyzers 2–6 GHz, Network Analysers 1.5 GHz, Signal Generators, Power Meters, DMMs/Multimeters, COTS test gear; IPC-610/IPC-7711/7721 knowledge preferred)
Troubleshoot, repair, and rework units to component level; determine root cause; retest to production acceptance criteria
Perform tests across Digital, Analog, and RF circuits, review BOMs/work orders, and ensure adherence to test procedures for NAV Aids, Surveillance Radios, and related products
Maintain documentation, meet deadlines, and coordinate with Engineering/Production on reliability and scrap decisions
Knowledge of RF circuit theory
Experience with electronic test equipment (hardware/software)
Ability to perform component-level testing and rework; follow established procedures
AA in Electronics or equivalent
Prior 2+ years in digital/analog/RF test, avionics or similar equipment; IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 familiarity
U.S. government background check capability
Location: Overland Park, KS; relocation planned to Olathe, KS in 2026

*** Use a variety of Electronic Test Hardware:** Multimeters & Digital Multimeters, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes (100 MHz - 2GHz), Frequency Counters (2 GHz), Spectrum & Vector Signal Analyzers (2-6 GHz), Network Analyzers (1.5 GHz), Signal Generators (Vector, Pulse, or Function), Peak & Average Power Meters, Commercial Off the Shelf Test Equipment (COTS), etc.
*** Education/Experience:** AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent is desired.
