Job Description

Job Title: Senior Python Manual Test Engineer

Job Type: Part-time / Contract

Experience: 8-10 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana(Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end manual testing of Python-based applications, including web applications, APIs, and backend systems Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test plans, test scenarios, and test cases Design, execute, review, and maintain detailed test cases using appropriate test design techniques Perform API testing for RESTful services using tools such as Postman and Swagger Validate application data through backend and database testing using SQL queries Identify, log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure timely defect closure Apply strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the testing lifecycle Use basic Python scripting for test data preparation, data validation, log analysis, and test support activities Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Perform risk-based testing to ensure coverage of critical and high-impact business scenarios Review testing deliverables created by other team members and provide guidance and feedback as needed Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality outcomes Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and best practices Support testing activities in cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure or GCP, when applicable

Qualification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
